Man marries dating sim character

Isn’t this sad? Months on hiatus and THIS is what gives me the urge to blog again.

One word that describes what I’m feeling: WHOA. This is seriously one of the most ****ed up things I’ve ever heard of. Yet, it seems almost revolutionary. In a twisted, this-is-so-weird-that-it’s-almost-genius sort of way.

He’s just lucky that Love Plus is supposedly never-ending, or else he’d be horribly depressed at the lack of New Game Plus. As a man, I must say: What. The. Fuck. But as a geek, at least he has good taste in anime girls…

I don’t know what’s more messed up: the fact that he married a video game character… or the fact that his “wife” is having “affairs” with other men in other cartridges? Unless they somehow take her out of the market, in which case, “nice job for screwing over your fellow otaku, douchebag! D=<

… That poor DS is in for a rude awakening these upcoming years. I mean, that GBA slot looks like it could fit more than a GBA game. That is, assuming everyone is as lucky as I am. 🙂

  1. Whoa, it’s Mikoto again :O That brings back memories…

Ah, sometimes I wonder whether such a stunt like this is out of pure love or just off the urge to pull a silly stunt. I’d hate to see the divorce papers in the future.

  2. He’s inviting family and friends which suggests he’s serious about this, but he also has media coming to the wedding which makes it sound like a good ol’ fashioned hilarious stunt to satisfy one’s curiosity and hunger for attention.

Off Topic : I LIKE HOW YOU WARN ME BEFORE STARTING UP THE BLOG, SOME OF US HAVE WORK TO DO OVER BREAK. Oh, who am I kidding, I’m procrastinating anyways, next post : Gyromancer and Resonance of Fate!

  3. Hello from the dark abyss, my old friend, CCY. That is, my basement.
If he really did pull this ridiculous wedding off just to get some lulz, I am obligated to take everything I said about him back because I’d do the same. Somehow, if a rift occurs between this happy couple, it would most likely be because:
    1) Nene would get more income than her dear husband.
    2) Husband would get pissed at having to repeat himself due to the DS’s less-than-stellar voice recognition.
    3) They would have remade Love Plus with new characters for the 360. HD graphics ftw.
    Love your new blog btw.

  4. No no, most of these games tend to come out on the DS. Think about how much stealthier that is as well as being always available. Then again, I might just be horrified at the idea of there being a game to rival Dead or Alive Xtreme Beach Volleyball on the 360. Japan, I don’t know whether to love it or hate it. [braces for impact due to last sentence]

  5. Videogame marriage, dude. It applies to any game. And if we go with the DS, if I was in his shoes would drop that chick for another anime girl with better renderi-
Why am I sounding serious about this?

THE iDOLM@STER. DLC outfits. Japan. Tsk, tsk.
