The suffering continues… My interest in actively discussing Puella Magi Madoka Magica died down significantly during the past couple of years. Don’t get me wrong, I loved the original anime series and enjoyed watching both of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Beginning Story and the Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Everlasting Story films, but […]
Challenge: Tell me why this is not awesome. Sekai Seifuku: Bouryaku no Zvezda certainly has one of the most fun premieres out of the whole season — I’ve already watched two whole episodes and I’m already getting an impression that this is supposed to be a superhero parody from the tokusatsu villain’s perspective. Not to […]
One of the things I love about anime conventions (or any convention for that matter) are the invasion of cosplayers. It was awesome seeing Downtown San Jose being infested and taken over by cosplayers and my fellow geeks and weebs. People might have been pissed by the traffic we caused and the endless lines we […]
Today, I become 19. I am no longer barely legal, just… legal. How boring. ): Well, what better way to spend your birthday than to watch a bunch of Cardcaptor Sakura episodes with you little sister. She seems to be just as in love with the show as I was when I was in grade school. […]
Don’t worry… Ahnnnnn~… Readers… I’ll write for you. The craziest anime series of the Fall 2011 just came to a close, but it left with me with something that didn’t live up to the zany expectations of the middle episodes. Not to say it was disappointing, but it felt that something was missing. No, rather, it […]
I’ll give you a cookie if you can name all three characters and where they originated. 😛 The list is in no specific order. #5 may apply to other countries, as well. Also note that I’m against these opinions, not siding with them.
Ryouko’s reaction to Ryoushi taking a level in badass. (Seems like the screenshots are gonna have Chinese subtitles for a while. Sorry, guys. D8)
Also known as “Nihon Kowai no Yoru” in Japanese. This is the first installment in my reviews of this Japanese horror anthology, which contains five short J‑Horror stories that aired on TBS on 2004 and was released on DVD by Geneon Japan. Naturally, my final thoughts on this J‑Horror anthology will be written in the […]
Lucky Star’s parody: The actual 1980s show’s henshin: “Kamen Rider Sōjirō”: In my opinion, one of the best cultural references in Lucky Star EVER.
“Kuroi-sensei~!” Seeing Aya animated was sort of funny, esspecially done in Lucky Star’s artstyle! Kyoto Animation seems to love giving slight nods left and right. I bet Aya Hirano fanboys were very happy with this one. (;
